From Boat to Table – 3 Easy Fish Recipes Loved by Lady Anglers

Nothing tastes better than a meal made with fish you caught yourself. After a successful charter, here are three go-to recipes from our Lady Angler community that are delicious, easy, and don’t require a gourmet kitchen.

Lemon Garlic Grilled Fish
What you need:
2 rock cod fillets
Juice of 1 lemon
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Olive oil, salt & pepper
Steps:
Marinate fish for 15 min.
Grill over medium heat 3-4 min per side.
Serve with veggies or salad.

Crispy Fish Tacos
What you need:
1 lb filleted rockfish or bass
½ cup flour
1 tsp smoked paprika
Corn tortillas
Slaw mix + lime crema
Steps:
Coat fish in flour and paprika mix.
Pan-fry until golden brown.
Load into tortillas with slaw and a squeeze of lime.

Hearty Fisherwoman’s Chowder
What you need:
Mixed catch (halibut, rockfish)
1 onion, 2 carrots, 2 potatoes
2 cups seafood stock
1 cup cream or coconut milk
Steps:
Sauté veggies, add stock & simmer.
Add chopped fish and cook until flaky.
Stir in cream and season to taste.
Cooking your catch is part of the joy. Don’t overthink it—just season well and keep it fresh.
